I had intended to post the other of the two advance Myths and Legends of Russia illustrations alone, but I love this tale so much I thought I'd just post the whole of it too together with the illustration.

The final artwork for the binding design of Myths and Legends of Russia.

The book is to be quarter bound - presumably in cloth, leather or buckram, with paper or vegetable parchment sides featuring the design ( a reminder of the rough).
